It is suggested that you familiarize yourself with the data entry forms, the design process and sample design calculations by first using the demonstration version of the design system.

The data entry forms for the demonstration version are identical to the registered version and all of the data entry forms are available for trial entry. Prior to registration however the ability to submit the data for processing is restricted. The calculations for a demonstration design is limited to a standard truss design <= 20 feet in length and <= 20 inches deep with no special conditions.

The demonstration version is intended to give you an understanding for how the design system works and the opportunity to review sample design calculations.

The design calculations will be stored on a JDMS web server and a link to the file will be sent to you via Email within minutes of submittal of the design parameters.

Each time you use the demonstration version it will be necessary to fill out the guest book information.

To begin the process of familiarizing yourself with the data entry forms and obtaining a free sample design calculation, follow these simple steps:

	Step 1.... Sign the Guest Book
	Step 2.... Press the Submit Button. Design Entry Forms will be downloaded automatically.

	Step 3... Enter the design parameters to be considered. The free sample design is limited to a standard truss design <= 20 feet in length and <= 20 inches deep with no special conditions.
	Step 4... Press the Submit button to submit the design parameters for processing.
	Step 5... Design calculations will be stored by Project Number on a secure web server. All designs for a Project Number will be stored in a single document file. A link to that document file will be sent to you via email within minutes of data submittal. Select the link in the email and all of the design calculations associated with that Project Number will be available to you in a single document file. You may download the file for storage or printing.
