The Joist Design Management System has been developed to assist professional engineers who require copies of analytical stress analysis and design calculations for special engineered open web steel joists, joist girders, A Frame joists, Bowstring joists or special steel trusses.   The design calculations are based on Allowable Stress Design (ASD) per AISC/SJI specifications and use standard AISC Angles for Top and Bottom Chords and single or double angles for all Web members.  Frequent users of the design system, such as steel fabricators, have the ability to have a specific angle property file used in the design calculations and material selection process.   The documents available can also include a material cut list ( bill of materials ).
