A way of communicating the girder design loads is 48G6N10.5K/3.75 where the first number is the nominal girder depth at midspan, 6N is the Number of joist spaces on the span of girder, and 10.5K is the total load (dl_ll) in kips loaded at the top chord panel points of the girder. The /3.75 is the uplift load in kips at panel points of the girder.
